Palpi thickly clothed with hair and extending about twice the length of head; maxillary palpi triangularly scaled; proboscis well developed; frons with a conical prominence; antennae of male bipectinated; tibiae with the spurs long. Fore wdng with the outer margin produced from apex to vein 5 ; vein 3 from before angle of cell; 4, 5 separated at origin; 7 when present from cell: 10 free.
