Proboscis well developed; palpi extending about twice the length of bead and thickly clothed with long hair; maxillary palpi triangularly scaled ; frons with a conical prominence ; antennae somewhat annulate; tibise with the spurs long; abdomen with the claspers large. Fore wing with the costa arched towards apex, which is somewhat rounded; vein 3 from before angle of cell;' 4, 5 well separated at origin ; 7 from upper angle ; 10, 11 free' and oblique.
