Show 10. Eail water out of toilet bowls and reservoirs behind toilets, and replace with anti-freeze (warn employees not to use toilets during the winter or anti-freeze will have to be replaced). 11. Put about a cupful of anti-freeze in each sink gooseneck. 12. Drain well pump by removing plug at bottom on right side. III. Operating Procedure: Other than occasional oiling of the well pump, (see part IV) no maintenance is required unless the pump begins to kick on and off. l·rnen this happens it means that air is needed in the pressure tank. There are two ways of solving this: 1) pump air into the tank by attaching a Plli~P to valve on side of tank, or 2) take the plug out of the bottom left side of tank and drain some water out. IV. Spring Start-up Procedure: Before putting the system into operation'hremove well p~~p cover and oil with 101'1 oil. Then reverse the steps of the s"ut-down procedure. It may be necessary to prime the well pump. To do this, take out the bottom little plug on the side, and run a small hose attached to a funnel into the pump. Then pour water into the funnel until reservoir is filled. Test whether pump is working by turning switch. |
