There is no known group that is interested in preserving or interpreting the structure, but according to some Tabiona and Hanna residents there is some public sentiment toward the dwelling. Some public objection could corne if and when it is razed . The structure has basically been maintained to its orginal construction standard and would need only continual maintenance. 13. No artifacts other than some of the present furnishings are available. 14. There is a good quality photo in our files taken in 1926 which shows the spruce trees in front of the dwelling that were about 10 feet high. ~hese same trees are now near 100 feet tall and overshadow the dwelling. 15. The structure is not given historic recognition in the present land use plan that is being prepared, but perhaps it should be • .
