There is no known group that is interested in preserving or interpreting the structure, but according to some Tabiona and Hanna residents the re is some public sentiment toward t l12 dwelling . The structure has basically been maintained to its orginal construction standarq and would need only continual maintenanc.e . 13. No artifacts other than some of the present furnishings are available. 14. There is a good quality photo in our files taken in 1926 which shows the spruce trees in front of the dwelling that were about 10 feet high. ~hese same trees are now near 100 feet tall and overshadow the dwelling. 15. The structure is not given historic recognition iri the present land use plan that is being prepared,.but perhaps it should be.
