Minimwn weight load for roof design of any structures should be 100 lbs. per square foot because of snow conditions. I. Water system design should be developed to eventually provide 12,000 gallons of water storage with the 40-50 PSI pressure to provide adequate fire pro;tection for the improvements. J. The lab building and garage exterior finishes should be earthtone colors. K. Provide fences necessary to protect the Government investment in property ani land acquired. Fencing should be esthetically pleasing and developed to screen the work area from the public contact visitor point. L. Provide for safe ingress and egress to the front of the lab building by recreation users towing trailers. M. Authorize the extention of electricity and telephone services to the lab structure on the location where it provides minimum resource impact. N. Protect the developed site by providing adequate drainage in case of bank failure on the irrigation canal. O. Protect archeological materials that may be w1covered during construction activities so their value can be assessed. VIII. ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT RECOMMENDATIONS A negative declaration should be prepared and a proposed project approved subject to the conditions listed in Section VII of this report and as provided for in the jointly developed Site Plan and final design and specification. This is a dedicated administrative site and the development does present an opportunity to improve the work center by using surplus buildings and facilities by allowing the Bureau of Recl~lation to develop facilities that meet their needs and will be compatible with the future use of this site. |
