Adairs We are thrilled with the prospect of meeting the first Ranger at Stoclanore, but must warn YQu considerable changes have taken piace since you were here. The spruce are higll. The District Clerk remembers the barn once there; in its place is a bunkhouse-workshop and' there are other buildings too. If you have other photos, besides those of the station, we'd be mst happy to see them; trail buildings, drift fences, water developments done by RUdolph Wilcken and his crew; activities in the North Fork, Blind Str~am, Rhoades Canyon, Log Hollow, Rock Creek; and photos of Yourself in uniform. In case you may arrive via Indian canyon (no~ a good highway) to Duchesne, site of the present Ranger's of£ice~, we will have our District Clerk Elden Wilc~en, escostt you on a tour of your old District in a Forest Serv~ce vehicle. Few of the old Hanna and Tabiona residents remain. You might remember Geo. A. (Chummy) Giles, now quite i~l,and his bIJI1ther Fra~ (Brig); Frank Clark; and possibly Ray 1.ee, son of Charlie, !:!/iMIIAum of Chancey Lee. Ray and Brig work for the District under the "Older American" program.
