Show A year ago I forwarded environmental and resource information to Dr. El Ashry,in Denver. This information is still valid for our purposes. We are preparing a second Issues Paper or brochure to cover all issues related to the CUP and can get this information to EDF: environmental, dam safety, cost, impact, silencing the media and State employees from discussing CUP , etc. Are you interested in having material sent you of importance? Since I am working on the CUP and paying xeroxing and mailing and phone costs, I cannot afford to join EDF. and other environmental groups. Could we arrange an exchange so that I can keep up with what you people are involved in in water projects? This doesn't mean I won't send you material, anyway. In addition, I would appreciate suggestions you might have. Now that we are getting involved in other issues of CUP development, specifically power, it would be helpful if I could get sources of information on power monies and tie-in with CUP as well as with private and federal power development In the Rocky Mt. region. We do not know, for example what monies are involved in Utah being a participant of the Colorado River STorage Project Act. We do not know the role of the federal government in power development - versus private. We do not know the export potential of Utah's power development. Yet all this is important as movitation for continuing CUP and/or damming all the streams in Utah - as the State will try to do. Thanks for your help.
