Show INTERVIEW: Francisco Solaria Page 37 FS: Well, I think it does a little bit. Ah, I don't know, maybe it depends this school they're going to. FO : Mnun- hmm. FS: But I don't--! think with me, I don't ask my children what their opinions are, I don't know, I want to, I feel myself, if they tell me something, I'm going to kind of feeling bad inside if they discriminate against them, or under something, and they usually have--keep it to themselves, maybe my wife would know better in that, for conditions about schools, because they usually, the children, they usually talk to their mother more than they do to me, you know, about especially the girls, and the boys, they usually, too. I know that they even feel bad themselves when, when some of the boys, especially of our own nationality, that they don't behave and respect other people. It don't make any difference who it is. What respect we're going to get if we're going to respect them that way, and to that--that order, I don't know anything more. FO: Mr. Solaria, ah, I take it that you are a member of the Catholic Church? FS: Yes, I am. FO: Have you been active as a layman ah, in the Catholic Church here since you've lived in Salt Lake City? |
