Other than when he retired from the British Army, I really don't know what kind of work he did before he came to the United States. I have no idea. BM So you have been living in Utah since 1904, then? EC Well, yes, I was born in 1904. BM Your husband, what was his first, his whole name? EC Alfred. BH Alfred. EC Alfred Ra~l C~rdova. BM Cordova. And where was he from? EC Taos, New Mexico. BM Taos, New Mexico. Do you know when he was born, the day and ... EC He was born April 15, 1902. BM He was right from Taos? EC Yes, as I remember he was born in Taos. BM Do you remember, did he ever talk to you how long he lived in Taos before he moved? EC No, he didn't. He talked to me quite a bit,and I have his diploma, when he went over to Las Vegas, New Mexico to college over there. I think that it was called University, Normal University. BM Normal University. EC Normal University of Las Vegas, New Mexico. |
