Show INTERVIEW: Louis Amador Page 12 LA: that we used to carry on that was pretty good too, but you want a good paced music like the good old Murray waltz and all those, they look at us now and say we'll they're at a funeral but they'd be surprised because they wasn't, they was enjoying theirselves peaceable more like and nowadays well, like I said, I picture you for instance a couple of girls chewing blow gum, you know, and hittin one side and going like that, I don't see nothin' in that. Do you think, what feeling have you got over there, the idea Vince, is to get acquainted with a girl you love or like and many times you didn't even have a chance, in those days, you didn't even have a chance to dance with your girl because papa was there and mama was there and they both watch, see? In those days you have a hard time to find a wife but then you find a wife, one that you know stayed thick and thin, true with you, and nowadays I see marriages, I saw one not long ago he got married today and he went with a bunch of friends and forgot to come back home. So the young lady she has to apply for the divorce because she didn't know where he was. What kind of a marriage is that and so you know, what causes that? Is that not knowing one to another that's all it is. But if you get together and you start going around . with that girl and you like her and you take your time by |
