FO: That would have put it about 1923 when you came. LA: 1923 when I first came to this country. FO: Yes, then can you remember any events of the Mexican Revolution? LA: How well I can remember, se~, I was, well1 see wasn't fourteen when they have that the city all blocked. See, the rebels was on the outside and the federals1 the governmeny was on the inside. FO: Now ~he rebels, by the rebels do you mean the forces of Pancho Ville? LA: Well, that Pancho Villa himself. They both parties have a pretty good size cannons according to those days, the one cannon they call it El Nino and the other they call it El Roro that's the names that they give to their cannons and they, you know, they bomb from one city situation among mountains in T~rreon that's a part of mountains, and naturally they take the cannons inside the city and the rebels have out in the hills, and they shoot from there, and you'd be surprised how much damage those things do when they hit the houses. Adobe houses well I'd say a good 14 wide by six thick and about, I'd say a good 24 inch long and all be modern and every-
