Show INTERVIEW: Cordova Page 20 that is where they used to go. BM For the LDS \vorship? EC The LDS at that time, but now you see they have it over on 7th South, the Lucero Ward. BM Wasn't that mostly for Spanish-speaking? EC Yes, Spanish-speaking. BM It was a Spanish-speaking branch or ward. And also, were there Catholic activites going on in the Catholic church for the Mexican people? EC Oh yes, especially down here at the Guadalupe. The majority of the people are Mexican in the Guadalupe parish. They always used to, I don't think they do anymore, but they used to have fiestas and everything all of the time. I kind of think that they cut that out. BM Who is the priest that blessed your marriage? EC Father Collins. BM Father Collins, and when was that? EC Oh, gee, I don't remember. BM Was it just after you got married, then? EC No, I had three children. I had three children at the time and it would be, oh, around in the late thirties, the late thirties when we had our marriage blessed.
