See, I was fifteen when I start Garfield Smelter on that, on that place if a man last four hours he was a pretty good man, great big colored fellow, big built up and everything and I look at him and they grab me and they can pick me right up, and they only last two thirds and 'boy' I don't want that, I wanna live a little longer and they quit right there and I stand nine years on that company, I work every department they have from the haul and drive up to service department, I work on the reverbs, converters, roasters, sulphi bea~s, and in the yard in general. I know every department there was there in those days and it was, it was pretty rough, you have to ••• I tell you one little places that is rougher than all those reverbs, I mean anytime you pound a twelve pound hammer to unfreeze those bars to take the ~ud out of the side of the reverb and put it on a sixty ton ladles nothing but soup already you work because you pound that hammer from the very beginning if you don't that thing will freeze from you and your _____ then you have to use ______ to cut it off.
