Price, Commissioner of Indian Affairs Patten requests permission to give all wages and (?) to the Indians named. July 11, 1895 Browning, D. M., Commissioner Letter to David F. Day, So. Ute Agency The commissioner forwards a copy of the letter sent to Commissioner Meredith H. Kidd, dated April 20, 1895, re: the allotment of land. A surveyor is to be hired, with Indian assistants, to aid in the process. Sept. 11, 1903 Smith, Joseph 0., Indian Agent, So. Ute Agency Letter to Commissioner of Indian Affairs Smith acknowledges receipt of instruction to relieve two Mexican assistant farmers and hire Indians in their place.
