Lewis School Letter to Commissioner of Indian Affairs Peterson requests permission to purchase seed for San Juan and his son, Patricio, both of whom have been accused of killing Wap ( Nowiats) and are awaiting trial. They do not have the means to purchase seed because of their legal problems. Peterson comments that he does not know if they are innocent or guilty of the crime. |
