E., Supt., Con. Ute Agency Letter to Commissioner of Indian Affairs Reports that the Mancos River Farm is being shaped for the coming season's work. Alfalfa and rye are being irrigated and the dam across the river is currently working but needs to be watched to prevent it from being washed away. Black, Stockman, Allen Canyon McKean requests information on the amount of plowing and team works required by the Indians this year. He chastises Black for the low return on the dollar for team work done for the Indians by his family. The work must be done more efficiently or someone else will be hired. Jan. 24, 1925 Black, E. Z. Letter to E. E. McKean, Supt., Cons. Ute Agency Black responds to McKean's letter of Jan. 16th.
