Ute Agency Letter to Commissioner of Indian Affairs McKean replies to the commissioner's request for a count of children in Allen Canyon and the number in school. Mar. 11, 1926 McKean, E. Commissioner Letter to E. E. McKean, Cons. Ute Agency Meritt responds to McKean's reluctance to transfer Navajo children from Ute Mountain school to the Ignacio School. He had argued that parents had been promised there would be no transfers.
