Sept. 12, 1892 Bartholomew, Charles A., Agent, So. Ute Agency Reports of the Agents Agent gives his annual report on conditions at the agency. He comments on population; agriculture and the need for improved irrigation facilities; use of intoxicants, which is difficult to control; education at the abandoned Ft. Lewis site; lack of missionary work; industries; sanitary conditions and improvements. Utes are opposed to receiving land in severalty. S.
