Show 13b !be Speed-Independent Control-Unit Simulator ASSASSIN currently does simulB:tion entirely under control of the user. No provision haS been made so far to implement ext.ended simulation control via fUeS. The simulation is functiona1 in nature and renects only sequence information, not timing information. The parser is currently not : robust. It will sometimes parse boolean expressions into a form which is non-EVALab1e by PSL. It will shortly be made robust and will generate appropriate error messages when an error in ASsASSIN specification has been made. It currently does not accept the PSL N-a.ry AND or OR logical operators and requires that extended ANDs and ORs be fully precedented via parentheses. Shortly these restrictions will be eliminated. When the the user has finished editing the SICUDL program and the machine specification is complete, the user must build the controlunit by issuing the "C-X C-S" command. This will place the user in simulation mode with the appropriate screen image. When the user is satisfied with the functional simulation of the control-lmit, i.t may be compiled (in Machine Edit Mode) using· the "C-X C-L" command. The following is a complete description of· all commands currently available for all simulation modes. E.o Simulation Coands ...
