Youth and age, the criminal and the just, the healthy and the sickly â€" all are eligible for separation from this life at any time.Yet who is to say, although some do out of fear of atomic genocide, that it would have been better not to have known the warm love of a parent, the beauty and truth in nature and the arts, or the thrill of learning again that which we may once have known? \They whom we honor had joined with us in the greatest adventure or exploration in which mankind throughout the ages â€" in whatever part of this grand multiverse he may be â€" can participate: the adventure of learning. May we use w|:h continually reviving and expanding interest that great gift vdiich they did not have time to fully develop here, and may nlby, wherever they may be, find death not death, but rather life. |
