In May the ASME men traveled to the University of New Mexico to participate in the annual student conference. Their queen was named Engineering Queen and in the spring new members were admitted to the society. It has squadrons on 170 campuses throughout the U.S. and is named after the late General H. H. Arnold. The purpose and mission of the organization is to further the cause of aerospace power and to aid in establish' ment of high morale and "espirit de corps" among theAir Force cadets.The University of Utah squadron is named after Colonel Charles W. Coleman, former professor of Air Science. The Arnold Air Society sponsors the national women's service organization, Angel Flight. Commander at Utah is Cadet Lt. Colonel Ronald L. Schill; faculty advisor is Mel E.
