Show Music Council members were (1. to r.) Suzanne Forsberg, Forrest D. Stohl, Paul Banham, Rebecca Bennion and Larry Jackstien. The purpose of the council is to assist the apportionment board in determining the budget and allocating the funds for the various music activities within the department. This student faculty organization, chaired by Paul Banham, also endeavors to coordinate the various music activities with the goal of gaining consistancy within the total music program.MUSIC COUNCILSTUDENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEEStudent Affairs Committee (1. to r. row 1) Jim Black-shire, F. Martin Erickson, Rie Mitchell and Steve Brock-bank and (1. to r. row 2) William L. Fowler, Willard W. Blaesser, Dan Raven and William H. Behle were responsible for administration of the policy that governs student affairs on campus. The committee is responsible to the University president and the Dean's Council.PUBLICATIONS COUNCILPublications Council members were (1. to r.) Milton Voigt, Milton Morris, Karen Rosenbaum, Parry D. Sorensen, Robert Pexton, and Philip C. Sturges. This student-faculty committee, headed by Dr. Sturges, serves as the publisher of the Chronicle, Utonian and Pen. The council makes the appointments of the chief editors and business managers of the publications. In addition, the council approves publications apportionment. |
