The growth of the University for more than a hundred years has facilitated the need for a long-term building program in order to expand cramped classrooms. Under the direction of the 1961-62 Board of Regents, nearly thirty-three million dollars were approved for that purpose. The Board of Regents' proposed goal is that of expanding the campus now in order to meet future surges in enrollment. |
