To elevate standards for the employed woman, to promote her interests, to create a spirit of cooperation, to expand opportunities through industrial. scientific and vocational activities, to secure equa.L consid eration under the laul and to establish conditions which assure both men and women the fullest cacities to maximum opportunity and reward for the development of their potential. ACTION ITENS: 1. Propose and support legislation to provide equality of rights under the 14t'l1'. to men and women. (a) by seeking removal of so called "protective" legislation which obstructs equality for women in the field of employment. (b) 2. strengthen existing legisla. tion in the field of employment which provides uniform 18.t'l1'S and regulations for men and 't'lomen as to working conditions, rates of pay, and equal employment opportunity. To Propose and support legislation to amend the Constitution of the State of provide a more equitable method of selecting members of a jur,y. to the use of registered voter rolls, rather than consideration giving Utah to tax rolls. j.
