Letter from Viola Wolfe to Anne, thanking her for a clipping she had sent from the Salt Lake Tribune regarding her speech at the Illinois convention. President Anne announced that she had accepted the invitation to National Rules Ccmmittee. serve on the National Representative, Ruth M. Easterling, arrived for the meeting and was introduced. Various chairman arrived to present reports. Olga Braden, Finance Committee member, explained the proposed budget for 1967-68. (Appendix ItJtt) DeLone Petersen moved that the executive committee accept the budget for presentation to the eonventi0n body. Motion seconded and carried. Pierson, Membership Chairman, reported on awards to be given clubs in the convention meetings. Certificates for 25% increase Brigham City, Bonneville, and Roosevelt. One club would be given a citation for stabilizing and seven for equalizing. Total membership as of this date' is 1105, and Utah now had fourteen Gold Card members. Elva - President Kidd gave out certificates to be awarded to Criteria Clubs and for Youth POyler Conferences (DeLone). (by Jean Fox) Frances K. Lenox discussed the proposed bylaw changes with the executive committee, and noted a correction made after printing on Article 24, Section 1. She then went through the recommended cnanges and additions to the standing rules. The board expressed their approval of the work done by this committee. (Appendix tlDlt & "E''') .
