Show Executive Committee Minutes December 11, 1965 A meeting of the executive committee of the Utah Federo+ion.of Business and was held December Professional Women's <7lubs, lnc 11,1965, at the home of Jean Fox, Salt Lake (tty, Utah. Those present were: President Joyce Frisby, fiir.5t , , vice president Anne Kidd, second vice president Jean Yergensen, and parliamentarian Adelyn Logan. Fox, treasurer Josephine . ca lied the meeting to order at 10:00 a .m She stated that Geraldine Noakes had submitted a letter of resignation and recording secretary asked Anne Kidd to take minutesof the meeting. President Joyce •• The minutes of the executive committee meeting on September 11, 1965, and corrected. The minutes of the Fa II Board meeting on September 12 read were and corrected. Upon motion by Josephine Yergensen and seconded by read were Jean Fox, it was voted that both sets of minutes be approved as corrected. The treasurer reported a bank ba lance of $1,436.25 with 1,000 paid members. New Clubs: I The president reported that the St George Club has organized, has asked for formj , and expects to send in their dues. 0 The new Zion Club (Hurricane and Springdale area) has sent in dues for members 16 along with bylaws and necessary organization information. This has been forwarded to Nationa I. Jean Fox reported that there are 10 definite Iy interested in a luncheon club at the State Capitol. They want at least 15 before organizing. The tv\agna-Grangerarea is still interested in a club. Jean Fox will contact the district directors, and Sue tv\ae Grua will work with them on this. A new club is planned by Ogden, and Libbie Maughan is working on a new club in the Logan area. the remainder Myrta Ha les has been asked to serve as bylaws chairman for of the year and wi II accept. A report has been sent to Sears $300 contributed to Utah State University for this purpose. There is strong a conference in the possibility that we may receive another $300 from Sears for Sa It Lake City area in the spring a • . Provo held theirs on November 27. Cedar City will hold theirs in the spring. Price has scheduled theirs for January 15, 1966. |
