Show Frank FergusonPaul BowenStephen ConoverPete LafonAn art exhibit was presented by the University of Utah Art Club at which Professor Alvin Gittins made awards to the 61 painters who entered the exhibit. In watercolor 1st place wl to Pete Lafon, 2nd place and honorable mention Paul Bowen, 3rd place to Stephen Conover, and honorable mentions to Frank Ferguson and Anthony Smith. In graphics 1st place .. • • en to Pete Lafon and an honorable mention to Dennis Phillips. In drawing first honors went to Dale Bryner and second to Pete Lafon. First place in oil painting went to Anthony Smith, 2nd to Dennis Phillips, and 3rd to Gary Pickering. In illustration 1st went to Ken Rogers, 2nd to Stephen Conover, and 3rd to Fred: Ensign and Jane Coombs. First place in layout was awarded to Timotheus Din-woodey, 2nd to Mackey Magleby, and 3rd to Stephen Conover. First place in lettering was Fred Ensign, 2nd was Steve Haslnm, and 3rd was Lynn Freeman.
