Show Land - Mesa Verde - 4 78 Advises that Mesa Verde is not part of his jurisdiction and has sent the letter requesting information to Supt. Spear of Ft. Lewis School. Feb. 22, 1908 Tentative Amendment of Act• Entitled " An Act Creating the Mesa Verde National Park" approved June 29, 1906 Act entails guidelines for leasing of land within the Park or in five mile strip contiguous to its borders. Right of way and special Treasury fund detailed. All leases subject to Congressional Acts concerning the Park. May 5, 1911 Abbott, F. H. and James McLaughlin Minutes of Council held with Weeminuche Band Council held regarding relinquishment of reservation lands for Mesa Verde Park.
