NA/ RG75/ 22 062 Oct. 16, 1900 Smith, Joseph O., Agent, So. Ute Agency Letter to John B. Harper, Durango, Colo. Agent forwards excerpt of Commissioner letter which states that Harper's preliminary report on the sewer and water system for the proposed Southern Ute School has been revised. Funding for the system is only for the school system. Others, like the agency, will be funded differently. Nov- 30, 1900 Smith, Joseph O., Agent, So. Ute Agency Letter to Commissioner of Indian Affairs Agent clarifies with the commissioner on payment for the various chiefs of the Southern Ute bands. Nov. 16, 1901 Smith, Joseph 0., Agent, So. Ute Agency Letter to First National Bank of Durango Smith requests that the listed coinage be prepared for him to pick up on Monday, the 18th.
