Ute Agency Letter to Commissioner of Indian Affairs The agent reports the arrest of Baron Nordenskjold, of Stockholm, Sweden, who is accused of removing and shipping relics from the homes of the ancient cliff- dwellers and from burial sites. Ute Agency Letter to Baron Nordenskjold, Durango The agent has been informed by the commissioner that the Baron is to be permitted to keep the relics that he gathered, with the exception of bones and skeletons. District Atty, Denver Bartholomew informed Flemming about trial arranged for persons who dug up Indian relics. Trial set for Feb. 10th in Cortez and Flemming will attend.
