B., Acting Commissioner Telegram to Agent Stollsteimer Agent is told to remove Utes from the Navajo reservation and to keep the Utes on their own reservation. Stollsteimer, Indian Agent Utes have asked Oeakey to write a letter to the agent on their behalf to have certain sheep herds kept off the reservation because they are eating up their winter grass. FRCD/ RG 75 Dec. 30, 1885 Oeakey (?), Robert Letter to Ute Agent, Ignacio, Colorado Same individual who wrote letter of complaint on behalf of the Utes last month states again that Navajo stock are eating the grass on the Ute reservation.
