P., Supt., Northern Navajo Agency Letter to Commissioner of Indian Affairs Acknowledges copies of letter from Dr. Orlando Ducker, Joe Miller and Bill Coyote protesting leasing of Ute Mountain Reservation lands to the Navajos. Attempts to show the flaws in Ducker's case by using the activities of Frank Pyle as examples. Opines that relations between the Utes and Navajos are amiable. Ute Agency Letter to Commissioner of Indian Affairs Concerns letters that protest against leasing land of the Ute Mountain Reservation to Navajos. Rebuts each of the letters by personal observation of conditions or by reviewing the reputation on position of the writer. He insists that Navajos would be better to lease land to white ranchers.
