NA/ RG 75 Dec 4, 1894 Day, David F., Agent, Southern Ute Agency Letter to Commissioner of Indian Affairs Brigham Young, Jr. agrees with Agent Day that troubles in southern Utah are the result of the cowboys and the renegade Indians, that Southern Utes with some exception cause no problems. Letter to Commissioner of Indian Affairs Ogden states that Colorado people are responsible for Indian trouble in San Juan County, Utah, hoping to remove the Indians and gain the land of the Utes.
