When Mr. Samuel Scudder was last in Europe, be brought with him a number of carefully coloured drawings of Hesperiidce for comparison with types in various collections. Among other species thus cleared up, he proved, by camparison with Latreille's type of G. hottentota, that (instead of being a form of 67. letterstedti) it the 67. obumbrata of Trimen. 138.
