Show SNOVV COLLEGE J. MARVIN HIGBEE, PRESIDENT EPHRAIM, UTAH 84627 .-----July 12, 1976 Mr. Jack Smith Preservation Planning Specialist Utah State Historical Society 603 E. South Temple Salt Lake City, Utah 84102 Dear Mr. Smith: At a joint meeting of the Sanpete Development Corporation and the Sanpete Theatre Group, it was unanimously agreed upon to purchase the small building adjoining the old Ephraim Hnj ted ...Orde.t...Mercantile Institution. An offer of $17,000 was considered reasonable. It was suggested that a bank loan for the entire amount would be raised through cosigners and, upon the acquisition of $8,500 Federal matching money, half of the bank loan would be immediately paid to provide a more favorable interest rate. Mr. Cooper's architectural drawing of the main building promises exciting results. Thanking you for your interest in these worthy old pioneers, Sincerely, ~r P~t Richard Nibley, Sanpete Development Corporation RN:ag -~!Large enough to serve you - - Small enough to k:rww you" |
