Show 1870 March 17, 1954 Dr. A. Ray Olpin, President, University of Utah, 222 Park Building Salt Lake City 1, Utah. Dear Dr. Olpin: Directing your attention to the Lease with Covenant to Build between the University and Kennecott, dated September 29, 1952: It is there provided that its initial term shall extend from the date of execution of the Lease Hto and including thirty-five (35) years after the completion of the Research Laboratory. " The Research Laboratory was completed March 1, 1954, which date, there- fore, marks the commencement of the thirty-five-year period specified in the instrument as indicated. The more precisely to identify this important date, if you concur will you please indicate that fact as provided below, and upon at least three (3) executed copies hereof, retaining one or more copies for your record and returning two (2) signed copies to us. The University acknowledges receipt of the above advice of March 17, 1954, concurs in the date of March 1, 1954 as that of the completion of the Research Laboratory and the commencement of the thirty-five-year period specified in the Lease with Covenant to Build referred to.
