Considerable benefit has accrued to the University as a result of the visits of these distinguis hed people, who came from Jordan, Pakistan, Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon. Regent Bamberger arrived. The President called attention to the University's position in this matter, and asked for a guiding policy in handling mining claims, citing the policy governing patents on inventions made by staff members.
