Show 92 Upon concluding his report, Regent Culp commended Vice-President Morgan on the fine job he is doing. He also stated that long-range requirements for the physical plant will be reported at a later meeting, Regent Bamberger excused. Appointments as listed in Appendix One were apAPPOINTMENTS proved on motion of Regent Eccles seconded by Regent APPROVED Bowen. Contracts as listed in Appendix V in addition to CONTRACTS APPROVED the following, were briefly explained to the Board by Vice-President MOrgan. Regarding item "H", Vice- President Morgan stated that the royalty concerned therewith, is still being negotiated. Regent Latter moved approval of the contracts, subject to satisfactory negotiations of the royalty provision in the Bendix Corporation Agreement, seconded by Regent Cox and carried: B, C. Contract between the University of Utah and W. Colston Leigh, Inc. covering the appearance of Eddy Gilmore in Kingsbury Hall, for $500. Contract between the University of Utah and Fadiman Associates, Ltd. covering the appearance of The First Piano Quartet at the Tabernacle at a fee of $1, 500. D. Contract #DA-42-077-AVI-103, Modification No.- 1 between the University of Utah and the United States of America, for meals at Fort Douglas, Utah. E, Rental Purchase Agreement between the University of Utah Audio Visual Bureau and Coronet Instr uctional Films, for $4, 438. ' |
