Show 11:8 The President called attention to the fact that the next regular monthly Board meeting falls on Monday, March 8, the date on "which Dru, Henry Dixon‘s inauguration as President of the Utah State Agricultural College takes NEXT BOARD MEETING MAR CH 1 5 place, Inasmuch as the Regents are invited to attend, it was moved. by Regent Evans and seconded by Regent Bennion that the next regular monthly meeting of the Board be held on Monday, March 15, 1954. Pursuant to Section 7 of Chapter 10 "Regulations of the Board of Regents Governing the University of CHEST X-RAY EXAMINATIONS Utah" entitled "Communicable Disease" which requires a statement from the University Health Service as to the individual‘s freedom from communicable disease, President Olpin stated that, on recommendation of Dr. Glen Leymaster, Director of the University Health Service, the members of the faculty are being requested to have another chest X~ray examination inasmuch as several years have passed since the first examinations were made. The President reported that on Wednesday, February 10,, 1954,, officers and representatives of ATOMIC LOCOMOTIVE CONFER - ENCE business firms from all parts of the country are gathering in the Union Building to hear a report on "An Atomic Locomotive" designed at the University of Utah by Dr. Lyle Borst of our faculty, The President invited the Regents |
