Show 155 Heating Plant No change except contracts have been completed for additional boilers and miscellaneous equipment. The architect is continuing with the plans and specifications for remodeling boiler house, which will be ready for bid approximately the last week of this month (February). Union Building This job continues to be held pending outcome of certain legal difficulties. A meeting was held in the attorney general's office of February 1 attended by Messrs. Callister and Waldo for the State; Ray, Rawlins, Leary, O‘Connor,- Olpin and Morgan for the University; Bushnell, attorney for the State Board of Education and Burrows for the bondsmen. The attorney general agreed to withdraw another counter claim which contended that the University came under the State Board of Education. A stipulation was agreed to, which in effect indicated that all concerned agreed that nothing in the suit would question the authority of the Board of Regents to issue the bonds for the Union building. This stipulation has been drawn and signed and will be forwarded to Chapman and Cutler February 8th or 9th. In addition, certain documents are to be obtained from the district court by Mr. Bushnell to indicate the stipulation al- ready agreed to and filed with the court. These also are to be ready by the 8th or 9th., The prospectus for the bond issue which Mr. Burrows has had in draft form was approved by the University on Friday, February 5., This has now been reproduced and is ready for distribution and advertising for the bonds as soon as word is received from Chapman and Cutler, Men's Dormitory The bond issue on this building continues in the same category as the Union building.
