Show COMMITTEE MEMBERS ARE Sue Scoffield, chairman, Hoyt Brewster, Susan Browning, Pat Watkins, Karen Cheney, Kay Atkinson, Jim Simmonds, Mary Brewer, Leon Dever, Ann Rothwell and Jack Ballow.gpy floats and resoundingbands set homecoming paceIn contrast to the stormy weather of past years, the sun shone on the University of Utah Marching Band as it led the Homecoming parade down Main Street. The queens waved, short-skirted majorettes threw batons into the air, and a shiny red dragon weaved its way down the street amid the blare of trumpets from 12 high school bands. The winning float was the joint entry of Pi Beta Phi and Sigma Nu. It depicted two extremely "far off places," heaven and hell. Later in the day parents arrived at the Panorama Room for the Parent's Day Luncheon, a Homecoming first.
