Show frosh basketball>' . . iUtah's basketball hopes for the future have been improved by the success of the 1963 freshman squad. The Papooses, under Coach Jerry Primm, ended the season with an impressive 11-2 record, toppling every team this year. However, it did take the frosh team three tries to stop the Utah State five. Utah State was the only hindrance to a Papoose perfect record for the season, but the opponent was leveled 88 to 64 in the third meet. Ability in all facets of basketball helped the Papoose record. Height was never a problem with four regulars standing over six foot five. The team displayed tremendous offensive ability with three 100 point games. They held their opponents to a 68.5 average. The frosh averaged 91.1 points a game, and had a margin of 22.6 points per game lead over their opponents.OL-jitt*THE FROSH TEAM consists of (front row) Kent Stepan, Kent McCleary, Jim Moffitt, Rogers Shaw, Wally Douglas, Stan Owen, Cleve Hale, Bruce Summerhays (row 2) Assistant Coach Ed Rowe, Randy Harkabus, Densely Steele, Lyndon Mackay, Bob Pence, George Fisher, Reid Steenblik, Terry Baker and Coach Jerry Pimm.
