OCR Text	Show MINOR SPORTS Clayton, Smertz, E. Hardy, Hardy, Johnson, Fletcher, Ryberg U Sweater Winners U Sweaters are awarded by the Associated Students to the most outstanding girls in W.A.A. participation each year. The sweaters are won on a basis of participating at least eight quarters in intramural sports, service to W.A.A., scholarship, leadership, and sportsmanship. Those who received sweaters were Beulah Smertz, Helen Fletcher, Elise Hardy, Estelle Hardy and Ruth Johnson. Schoenhalls, E. Hardy, Walton, Hardy, Evans, Robinson, Banks Volley Ball Volley ball was added to the intramurals this year and proved to be an exciting sport; the participation in this activity far surpassed expectations. The Phi Mu sorority team won the tournament for the affiliated girls; while the Baby "X" Club was succesful among the unaffiliated groups. These teams developed a quick, accurate skill in the game.
