Show ADMINISTRATION Pomeroy, Callb, Johnson, Tanner Eastman, Backman, Harms, Swan Bywater, Wiesley The function of the Commission of Control is to act in conjunction with the Executive Council in the maintenance of student discipline. Among the duties of the Commissioners, more commonly known as the Vigilantes, is the supervision of all student elections, the umpiring of Freshman-Sophomore class rivalry, the policing of school parties and dances, and the patrolling of the campus in general. It is the obligation of the Commissioners to report all infractions of rules to the Executive Council, who, in turn, provides suitable corrective measures under the supervision of the president of the university. The Vigilantes are selected by the second vice-president of the associated students, who acts as chairman of the commission. All appointments are subject to the approval of the Executive Council. The following students, chosen from various campus organizations, served during the year: DeMotte Pomeroy, chairman; Vere Wiesley, chief commissioner; Irvin Johnson; James Ivers; Thornley Swan; Delece Tanner; Paul Callis; Joseph Backman; Herman Harms; Lloyd Bywater; and David Eastman.
