Show PUBLICATIONS f The humor value of the Humbug was undeniably demonstrated by its popularity with the students. Each production of the magazine was completely sold out two hours after being placed on sale. The autumn quarter issue featured a football theme, and introduced several new and different humor ideas to campus readers. Notable among these was a Date Directory of sorority and unaffiliated coeds, which contained the name, type, build, and color of hair and eyes of each. "Fashions and Styles," a seciion made up of camera portraits of comely university girls modeling the apparel of Humbug advertisers, and "Mudder-ins," something novel in a gossip column, were other interesting items used in the autumn number. The Prom Humbug, centered largely around the annual junior event, contained a Date Directory of the male college students; while the final issue featured spring society. Editor Stockman and his staff are indeed to be commended for their three well-received "Hummies." Lynn Stockman Editor James Beless Business Manager The Staff Chick Otterstrom Associate Editor J.
