Show ADMINISTRATION "~J-lte <=?d-i>cL cited <^tudeut, The Associated Students vest control in an Executive Council comprised of the five student body officers chosen the preceding year at a general election. The Council's aim is to direct and regulate student affairs in accord with the accepted policies of the university. The officers of this year's Council were: Richard Van Winkle, president; Mary Jones, vice-president; DeMotte Pomeroy, second vice-president; Mary Strange, secretary; and Hyde Clayton, treasurer. From the beginning of the school year, the Council innovated plans and carefully executed them in such a manner as to prove them timely and effective. The increased enthusiasm and spirit which attended the student activities may be rightly attributed to the vigorous activity of the Council and the committees working conjointly with it. New practices were adopted in many phases of campus endeavor; and though working against the handicap of a curtailed budget, the Council's work was especially commendable in making university life mors interesting and worthwhile. To each member of the Executive Council is extended the unanimous vote of appreciation for his or her extraordinary service to the student body. Thirty |
