A blocked kick rolling for a safety was the deciding margin of victory. Calamitous November followed. Heading east with an unblemished conference record, Utah invaded the Colorado stronghold at Boulder, and fell before the vicious onslaughts of the Buffalo underdogs, 6-7. The following Saturday, the Farmers of Fort Collins, led by "Red" White, whipped the invaders, 6-14, with a barrage of devastating passes. "Turkey" day, with its downcast skies and brisk winds, saw the unbeaten Aggies victims of a spirited Armstrong eleven, 14-7. Costly misplays contributed to the disastrous Logan downfall. Although Co-captains Arnett and Rinaldi, Pomeroy, Pugh, Callis, Johnson, and all-conference guard, Dan Savich, graduate, the outlook for next September is exceptionally promising.
