Show 12 1 402 of the National Historic Preservation Act Amend- 2 ments of 1980 (94 Stat. 2987); 3 (5) providing advice to the Secretary on any other 4 landscape that may qualify, because of its Olmsted in- 5 fluence, as an Olmsted historic landscape under section 6 3; and 7 (6) making other recommendations to the Secre- 8 tary and the Council concerning the implementation of 9 this Act. 10 (b) The Committee shall be composed of nine members, 11 to be appointed by the Chairman of the Council, as follows12 (1) two members to be appointed from recommen- 13 dations submitted by national organizations concerned 14 with Olmsted parks and historic landscapes, Olmsted 15 papers, and other Olmsted memorabilia; 16 (2) two members to be appointed from recommen- 17 dations submitted by national organizations concerned 18 with landscape architecture, historic architecture, ar- 19 chitectural history, and historic preservation; 20 (3) two members to be appointed from recommen- 21 dations submitted by national park, conservation, and 22 recreation organizations; and 23 (4) three members representing other related dis- 24 ciplines such as history, architecture, horticulture, ar- 25 chaeology, geography, urban ecology, and planning, HR 4356 IH |
