Show 5 1 (2) The inventory shall be prepared in consultation with 2 the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, and with par3 ticipation of State historic preservation officers, State outdoor 4 recreation liaison officers, organizations representing local 5 elected officials and local governments, concerned private 6 and public organizations, academic institutions, professional 7 associations, and interested individuals. In the preparation of 8 the inventory, the Secretary shall use existing data, to the 9 maximum extent possible. 10 (b) The inventory shall be compiled on State-by-State 11 basis. Copies shall be deposited in the Library of Congress 12 and access provided at the Frederick Law Olmsted National 13 Historic Site, Massachusetts, at National Park Service re14 gional offices, and at appropriate State offices. 15 (c) For each Olmsted historic landscape the inventory 16 shall include at least the following17 18 (1) a description of the landscape's location and history of ownership; 19 (2) documentation on the design intention of the 20 landscape, including its purpose, philosophical base, 21 social and physical aspects; 22 (3) documentation on the means by which the 23 design intention was carried out, including horticulture, 24 mechanical aspects (such as topographical alternations, HR 4356 IH |
